Everything in Fit Mode came from one place: competing at a high level and learning what actually works under real pressure.

I ran sprints — the 60, the 100, the 200, the 4×100 relay, and the 100 hurdles. My 100m best was 11.37. I was selected for the Team Alberta regional squad and turned it down to focus on school. Out of high school I played for the Edmonton Huskies.

A serious head injury ended that chapter earlier than I'd planned. I won't pretend it didn't redirect my life — it did. But it moved me from competing to building, and gave me a reason to take what I learned being coached by people who'd competed at the NFL, CFL, and Olympic level, and rebuild those principles for people who don't have an athlete's schedule.

I don't hold a strength and conditioning certificate.
